How to Pay for Addiction Treatment at Mountain Vista Recovery

Medicaid

- Low-income individuals and families.
- Age 65 or older.
- Blind or disabled.
- Infants and children under the age of 21.
- Pregnant.
- In need of long-term care.
- Receiving Medicare.
Private/Commercial Insurance
Private or Commercial Health Insurance is often provided by an employer. Mountain Vista Recovery accepts a wide range of private/commercial insurance plans and coverage, out of network.
Self-Pay
Self pay requires paying out of pocket and up-front for treatment. Contact Mountain Vista Recovery today to discuss self-pay options for substance abuse treatment.
Type of Treatment Center
Inpatient programs are typically more expensive than outpatient programs, due to the need for round the clock observation and treatment. Outpatient programs allow the patient to stay in their own home or sober living, reducing the costs for living arrangements.
Length of Stay
Depending on the severity of the addiction and treatment plan, patients typically stay in treatment for between 30-90 days. The longer the stay, the higher the cost, as a longer stay requires more intense therapy. Mountain Vista Recovery therapists and case workers will meet with the client to determine the length of treatment, depending on their unique needs.
Treatments Offered
While some patients require a detox period, and therefore a specific course of medical treatment, some clients come to Mountain Vista Recovery requiring less intense treatments like IOP or SACOT, which are less costly than full inpatient and detox treatment.
Mountain Vista Recovery offers in-house IOP and SACOT treatment, and MAT treatment through our trusted medical partners. Mountain Vista Recovery believes treatment only starts with therapy – we work with local partners and organizations to offer our clients access to whatever treatment best speaks to them, including equine, yoga, trauma, art, talk and group therapy – we do what works for you.
Amenities & Location
Some therapy and rehab treatment programs try to provide different amenities and services for clients, while some provide none at all – what is available plays a huge role in total cost of treatment for the client. Remember; “Amenities” often inflate the price of treatment.
It’s important to understand the difference between “services” and “amenities” when entering treatment for addiction. “Amenities” are features of a property or facility that have a physical element, like pools, gyms, walking trails or fire pits. “Services” are directly beneficial to your recovery, and include things like therapy, classes, volunteering and participation in a healthy recovery community. Therapy and treatment centers must decide between investing in amenities like yoga studios and horse stables, and investing in services that will continue to serve the client in their long-term recovery and healthy lifestyle choices.
Mountain Vista Recovery believes that things like a clean, comfortable and safe living environment are a right – not an amenity. We believe in building a healthy and supportive environment by investing in services that help our clients build something concrete to take when them when they graduate, like community support, education, reliable medical treatment, reliable transportation, employment, healthy coping techniques or even links to community services and long-term assistance.
