What to bring to Rehab – a guide.

Towels, Sheets, Comforter & Pillow

Basic towels are provided, along with bedding for a twin size bed. If you are a “nester” please feel free to bring your own bedding or towels.

Laundry & Dishwasher

A washer, dryer, dishwasher and all the soap you need to run them are provided. If you prefer a particular type of soap, please feel free to purchase it.

Storage Elements

Minimal storage will be provided for both the closet and under the bed. Clients are expected to keep their room and closet area neat and clutter-free.

Amenities

Each apartment or house is equipped with a flat screen television, kitchen and common area. Each sober living property has a yard, porches and outdoor seating areas.

You will need….

Comfortable Clothing: 

Yoga pants, sweatpants, sweatshirts, tee-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, underwear, and pajamas.

Footwear: 

Sneakers, hiking shoes, and slippers.

Personal Hygiene Items: 

Deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, brush, feminine hygiene products, shaving cream, lotion, makeup, and electric grooming supplies.

Note – No pharmacy on site. All methadone dosing conducted off premisis.

You will have the opportunity to purchase these products periodically throughout your stay with MVR – smoking is a privilege, not a right.

To leave valuables at home:

MVR strongly discourages bringing valuables into treatment. Please leave all valuables at home. You are responsible for any personal belongings brought onto the campus or kept in your room. If you choose to bring valuables onto the campus, MVR is not responsible for any losses or damages. MVR is not responsible for any articles left on site after discharge. Clothing and/or valuables not claimed within 7 days of discharge will be donated.

Many of our clients are artists. Please feel free to bring art supplies including:
Colored pencils, markers, pens, crayons, diamond art, knitting and coloring books.
