Meet the Mountain Vista Recovery Team
George Tasedan, LCMHC, LCAS
Owner & Lead Therapist | Mountain Vista Recovery
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), with a master’s degree in counseling, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Today I am sober. I have heard and lived all the stories. Ask me how I got here to Mountain Vista Recovery…I’ll tell you!
Things really clicked when I moved to Lexington, KY in my 20’s, and started to really take recovery seriously. From here I worked toward a B.A. and M.A. in different elements of addiction therapy, and started my first business.
I recently married my wife Sydney, who reminds me every day how powerful love can be, and who has given me two incredible, empathetic and brilliant sons.
If I had free time, I would be spending it hiking or mountain biking, playing Call of Duty, watching Messi, buying Patagonia, playing league soccer, or exploring the mountains of China and beaches of Thailand with my sister.
I create a safe, collaborative space where you are always heard. I promise you my time, consideration, honesty and energy. I will show you how to give the same back.

Brady Schroer, DO
Medical Director
I hold a BS in Biopsychology with an emphasis in chemistry, and attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. After medical school, I completed his general psychiatry residency at an internationally known psychiatric clinic, and later worked in a large hospital setting for five years as a psychiatric hospitalist taking care of geriatric patients, caring for patients with psychiatric issues on the medical floors and ICU (intensive care unit), detoxifying clients from alcohol and benzodiazepines, ECT treatment for depression, and served as Medical Director and Chief of Psychiatry.
I moved to Western North Carolina in 2007 to become the Medical Director of the inpatient psychiatric unit and the detoxification unit at one of the area’s top hospitals and served for seven years in that capacity. Most recently, I have been treating adolescents and adults in sober living environments, residential treatment centers, community behavioral health and outpatient settings.
Jodi Mabry FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
I relocated to Western North Carolina in 2017 and transitioned from a long-standing career in Labor and Delivery to working in urgent care. During my time in urgent care, I recognized a significant gap in resources for substance abuse and mental health care in the WNC area. This realization inspired me to focus my practice in these fields, and since 2021, I have been serving as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in mental health and addiction recovery. It has been deeply rewarding to witness clients grow and thrive on their personal journeys, whether they’re overcoming challenges related to mental health or substance abuse.
